Mel B throws cup of water at Simon Cowell and storms off America's Got Talent after he cracked crude wedding night joke
There was a bit of drama yesterday on live TV during America's Got Talent. Mel B threw a cup of water at Simon Cowell during the reality contest show after he cracked a crude joke at her expense. Afterwards, she stormed off the stage in outrage.

Mel B is going through a bitter divorce with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte and Simon made an insensitive joke by likening one of the contestant's performance to Mel B's wedding night, saying it had "not much promise or delivery".

Mel B was upset at this and did not care to hide it. As she stormed off stage after dousing him her co-judge with water, the back of her dress split, making matters worse.

The performance which led to Simon's crude comment was from Demian Aditya who did a magic act which Simon found disappointing and he said as much.

"I feel like this would be a lot like Mel's wedding night, a lot of anticipation…not much promise or delivery," Simon said to the contestant.
The former Spice Girls star stood then, picked a glass of water and poured it on Simon then stormed off.
"Mel B is out," said host Tyra Banks, 43. "This is live TV, y'all. Live TV."
